New Captain Marvel Posters are a Hit

Today being two-days after the long Presidents Day weekend, I thought why not discuss the new Captain Marvel posters I found on the Graphic Design Forum before the movie is released in theatres next month. I can already sense that this movie is going to be one of those that people wait in line for hours to go see.The posters were designed by Marvel Studios for each of the main characters in the movie—even the cat.

Conspiracy Behind 'Elevator' Super Bowl Ad

Every year a week after the Super Bowl there seems to be some controversy with a commercial that turns into an advertising industry conspiracy theory. This year is no exception. We are all familiar with the Hyundai commercial created by Innocean where Jason Bateman, the star of Netflix original show “Ozarks” plays the operator of an elevator from hell, taking unfortunate passengers to all sorts of awful places like jury duty and a vegan dinner party before they saw the white light in the form of Hyundai’s Shopper Assurance service. See the ad below, it was featured in Inside That Ad’s 2019 Super Bowl Central.

Year 2017 Most Watched Ads on Google's YouTube

It’s time for the year-end lists, and here’s a fun one—the 2017 YouTube Ads Leaderboard, featuring the most-watched ads on the video platform this year.

You’ll recognize many of the spots, from Super Bowl commercials (Mr. Clean, Kia, Budweiser) to well-known celebrity spots (Natalie Portman for Miss Dior, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson” for Apple).

Remarkably, the No. 1 spot on the list, with more than 150 million views, comes from India. It’s a Samsung spot that we wrote about back in January, shortly after it broke and began pulling in views by the millions in just its first few days.

Fun Size’ Salads for Halloween? Dole Isn’t Sure How It Feels About That

“Fun size” salad packets from Dole would be the most sadistic “treats” to give youngsters on Halloween, almost certainly guaranteeing your trees will be festooned with toilet paper by the end of the night.

Alas, you won’t be able to try it out. The image here is a Photoshop job by Adam Padilla, the founder of creative agency Brandfire.

Still, Dole had a pretty curious reaction to Padilla’s efforts.

Joining in the suddenly hot trend of friendly cease-and-desist letters, the food marketer playfully warned Padilla not to mess with its trademark again without talking to them first. But at the same time, it whipped some of its own “fun size” salad concepts—posting them right along with the warning.

Bread Face Made an Ad for Jewelry While Mashing Her Face Into Baked Goods

You know you love yourself some ASMR content, that stuff of soft sounds that apparently result in ticklish little braingasms. But the cottage industry goes way further than mere whispers.

Have you met Bread Face?

The Bread Face blog launched in early December 2015, at which time her Instagram account swelled to over 20,000 followers. (She’s now at over 174,000.) The idea is simple: A lone woman in a room smashes her face into bread. It is almost as satisfying as watching Dr. Pimple Popper, except you won’t feel gross about being hungry after.

New Uncle Drew Featuring Kyrie Irving

New Uncle Drew Featuring Kyrie Irving

It’s been a while since Inside That Ad has published a post. It’s been so long that we’ve even lost our original domain name. We are now a .NET instead of a .COM. In any case, to commemorate the City of Cleveland’s first sports victory in 52 years via the Cleveland Cavaliers. Here is another installment of Pepsi’s Uncle Drew.

You can see older chapters of this phenomenal Uncle Drew series in a previous post.

Provoking Images

Hi World,

I recently read a Foreign Policy Magazine article that discussed Saudi Arabia and building weapons technology but that isn’t the main point of this post. my question is why does the image (the attention her of the magazine) have to be so negative? Particularly because Saudi Arabia as a country has never engaged in such activity.

Provoking Images But seeing this image without any context enables people to make harsh and unfair judgments without understanding the real issues. It conjures up hate among mankind and I think with the holy month of Ramadan upon us we should a little more to promote love and understanding. But what do I know? The side of says the magazine has the responsibility to its parent company.

ITA Getting into Movie Trailers

Earlier today I took a photo of the Jurassic Park movie poster plastered all over my neighborhood. I did that with the intention of talking about how Inside That Ad plans  to feature more movie trailers as part of its regular updates.  Movie trailers are a form of advertising for movie. In fact, the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a movie trailer as “a selected group of scenes that are shown to advertise a movie” So, I figured it would be fair game for this blog to discuss. Below is trailer for the latest addition to the Jurassic Park series “Jurassic World.”

What Happened to agencycompile.com?

AgencyCompileAgencycompile.com has changed significantly since the last time I tried to use it seriously back when I was living in Boston. I wanted to ask the community out there, why this change happened? What you guys think about it? Do you guys the site got better or worse since making the transformation?

I remember it as being a simple website, with a plain look, feel and login that was very appealing to me. That appeal stemmed from knowing of a site where I can look up agencies based on size, specialty, billing ranges and most importantly to me location so that I can submit my resume to open positions. Now, the site doesn’t appear to be so simple to navigate through. It has so many sections and functioned very poorly while I was trying to use it in Google Chrome that I’m surprised no one else has complained. Furthermore, I submitted another registration form and tried to contact some sort of support department because I wasn’t getting the confirmation email to complete the registration to allow me to use the site but I haven’t heard anything back. Has anyone else experienced the same type of problem?

Type Art by PhreshSoldier

I saw this beautiful piece of art on kissmyblackads.com and I just had to have it on IT A. The art was created completely using different fonts and text sizes. Of course, the attention grabbing piece of art had to be my sports hero, Micheal Jordan which is what grabbed my attention first. see more of PhreshSoldier’s art on his gallery.
