I know I skipped the 2021 Super Bowl list, and I’m a few weeks late with this one, but I think it’s essential to keep some sort of tradition going with Inside That Ad even though I don’t post much on it anymore. So, without any further ado. Here are the ad spots ITA thought were the best for the 2022 Super Bowl:

I made a bet with a friend of mine on the outcome of the first World Series game which the Atlanta Braves won. I just so happen to have won the bet and to celebrate my victory I sent my friend this photoshopped image.

I made this by taking a Voyager ad that I found on Twitter and modifying it to be funny enough to send to my friend. Although the empty space at the lower left side of the ad I should have included the section about the BTC. It would have made the comparison more equivalent. Microsoft Shines a Light on Disability with For the Win Super Bowl Commercial

Hello World,

I was extremely disappointed with the final result of the Super Bowl game this past Sunday. As you probably have already figured out I was rooting for the Los Angeles Rams, who came up short this year. The game was so boring that one of the commentators actually called it the Snooze Bowl. On the other hand, the commercials did not disappoint. Microsoft’s ad titled: “For the Win” I believe really pulled at America’s heartstrings this year.

Should Inside That Ad Start a YouTube Channel?

Hello World,

I’ve been thinking about how I could possibly start an Inside That Ad (ITA) YouTube channel. Do you guys think that’s even possible? The reason I am considering a YouTube channel for the ITA blog is for three reasons:

Reasons:

- There isn’t advertising and or a marketing channel like the ITA blog on YouTube. You know, a channel the discusses the ad as content along with the ad’s creators (i.e. ad agency or marketing firm.

- YouTube as a marketing channel will expose the blog via its videos to a wider audience. That audience will already be there and searching for videos to watch.

- If videos take off with respect to views, the YouTube partner program can be another source of revenue for the blog. Let’s be completely honest with you. I’m trying to make the blog, [Teespring](https://teespring.com/stores/bocciamans-store) sales and possibly the videos a legitimate source of income. Right now, everything I’m doing online to try to generate income can be considered simply a hobby.

Your Job

The reason I need you, the audience is to not only support my endeavor but also help me develop a possible format for the videos that will be uploaded on to the new YouTube channel.

Toyota's Championship Game

Toyota really scored big with this “Championship Game” commercial The spot features two sisters learn the meaning of sportsmanship when they attend their father’s wheelchair basketball game, nervously watching as he gets knocked to the ground by an opposing player, and then witness the dejection in his eyes after his team is defeated. As they are about to leave, he rolls over to the man who knocked him down and shakes his hand. It really appeals to the audience’s emotions, a tried and true tactic when advertisers feature “disability” in their advertising.
